Botanical name:Nassella tenuissima

Soft, flexible foliage move with a breeze. Grows to 2'. Goes somewhat dormant during summer but green spring & fall. Prefers a sunny, well-drained site. This plant can be invasive in some areas, so use caution. Native to N. Mexico, Tx, Mex & Arg 5-8000'. To keep reseeding to a minimum, drip irrigation will be best. Cut back in early spring to remove dormant foliage and dried seed heads. Can also tolerate dry shade. 14" x 10" Finest textured of ornamental grasses. Very dr tolerant. Cool Grower

Canyon Prince Wild Rye, Island Blue

Common name:Canyon Prince Wild Rye, Island Blue
Botanical name:Leymus condensatus 'Canyon Prince'

One of the best known and utilized native grass selections in Southern California. Beautiful blue grey foliage that spreads to 3-4' or more. It will reach a height of 2-3'. Flowers rarely. It does spread by rhizomes although not as vigorously as some closely related species. Can be extremely drought tolerant and care must be taken not to over water this species as it can rot from the center. Otherwise it is carefree and requires virtually no maintenance.

Ruby Glow Manuka

Common name:Ruby Glow Manuka
Botanical name:Leptospermum scoparium 'Ruby Glow'

New Zealand Tea Tree has small, needle-like green leaves with showy, 1/2" rose-like flowers in winter and spring. These shrubs can be thinned to enhance their attractive branch structure and flaking bark. They need very little water once established. 'Ruby Glow' is compact, upright and grows 6-8' tall by 4-5' wide. It has dark foliage with deep red blooms; it works well as a red accent in the garden.
